What is 14K Gold-Filled?
14K gold-filled jewelry contains a substantial layer of 14K gold that is mechanically bonded to a base metal core. Unlike gold-plating, the gold layer is significantly thicker and is designed for long-lasting wear when properly cared for.
Gold-filled is a popular choice for permanent jewelry and everyday jewelry because it offers the look of solid gold at a more accessible price point.
Is sterling silver real silver?
Yes. Sterling silver is a silver alloy containing 92.5% pure silver, with the remaining portion typically made up of other metals to improve strength and durability.
How is chain sold?
Our chain is sold by the foot, unless otherwise specified in the product listing.
Each product page will indicate the available chain style, dimensions, and material.
How do I know which jump rings work with my chain?
Each chain listing will provide the recommended jump ring sizes. We recommend checking the product details before ordering to make sure you're selecting a compatible size and gauge.

What does MOQ mean?
MOQ stands for Minimum Order Quantity.
It is the minimum amount of a product that must be purchased per order. For example, chains have an MOQ of 3, so you would need to add at least 3 feet of chain to your cart.
MOQs can vary by product and are listed on the individual product page.

Why do I need an account to shop?
Lakeview Findings is a wholesale supplier, so an account is required to shop and place orders. Creating an account helps us keep wholesale pricing and purchasing available exclusively to approved customers.
Once your account is set up, you'll be able to browse our products and place orders through our online store.
What is a wholesale account?
A wholesale account allows qualified businesses and makers to purchase products from Lakeview Findings at wholesale pricing.
Our products are intended for businesses, jewelry makers, permanent jewelry artists, and other professionals purchasing supplies for their work.
What is a Tax ID?
A Tax ID, or tax identification number, is a number used to identify your business for tax purposes. Depending on your business structure and location, this may be an EIN or another applicable tax identification number.
If you're unsure which information you need to provide, we recommend checking with your tax professional.
I'm a new business. Can I still create a wholesale account?
Absolutely! We love supporting new makers and growing businesses. If you're just getting started, you can create an account and shop our selection of jewelry-making supplies. A great place to start is with our PJ Starter Kits!
Ordering
What is your order processing time?
Most orders are processed and shipped within 1-3 business days.
If for some reason an order cannot be met within that time due to backorders, you will be notified via email within 1-3 business days.
Processing time is separate from the shipping time selected at checkout. Once your order has been processed and shipped, you'll receive tracking information so you can follow its progress.
Can I cancel my order after placing it?
You may change or cancel your order any time within 24 hours of placing it, as long as it hasn't shipped.
Once your order's shipping label has been printed and the package sealed, it cannot be changed, cancelled, or refunded, except in the case of a manufacturing defect.

Shipping & Returns
